GRAPEFRUIT SOUND LAB
Grapefruit Sound Lab is a music label based out of New York City. These updated logos and all other branding assets were created to accurately represent their unique sound and identity as self-proclaimed "Contemporary New Wave" music.
The circular shapes in the logo and sub-mark are visual references to sound waves, postmodernistic computer-rendered graphics from the 1970s and 1980s, the physical structures of speakers, and retro computer technology.
